alterations and Tailoring

Here At Broadway and Madison we take on jobs big and small based entirely on your needs. From stitching a button back on, to custom tailoring we have you covered. No matter what kind of alteration you require it will fall under one of two categorites of services we provide: basic and special event. You can find descriptions of both below.

Minor alterations
Examples of minor alterations are stitching back on a button, repairing a hem or seam that has split open or even sewing on fashion patches.
Creative alteration/Hand embroidery
Want to jazz up something you hardly wear anymore, or cover a spot where you needed mending? Let us breath new life into you clothes with some custom hand embroidery!
Basic Alteration
Examples of basic alterations are taking in or letting out a garment, zipper repair or replacment, adding a gusset to add non existant length or lifting or lowering a hem.
Special event alteration/tailoring:
Custom alterations and stitiching for evening and special eventwear, blazers, cocktail dresses, ball gowns.
